If you keep up to date with my social media you may have realised I have been a little MIA recently, so I think its only fair I give you all a quick life update. I was going to explain everything in a YouTube video however my camera stand is currently in one of the 10 million boxes I have packed up to move, so this will have to do.
So my new apartment is nearly ready and I can honestly say I cannot wait to move in. For as long as I can remember my world has been filled with nothing but anti-bac, moving boxes and suitcases. I now realise just how tiring and stressful moving out is (I swear the first time round just wasn't this chaotic), especially now Pea is in full time work. Somehow her 'its going well' passing comment when she comes in from work every night doesn't suffice the blood, sweat and tears it has taken for me to pack up our stuff completely solo. Nevertheless its done and I suppose the home ware shopping spree she treated me to has made it all worth while. Yes, thats right even though I moved out of my family home less than a year ago with all new home ware in hand, I was bored with it already and just thought a revamp was in need.
So currently I am living out of a suitcase at my parents house until the end of the week, when I will then go to the in laws. I can honestly say I don't miss travelling to and from both our parent's houses, oh the joys of living together. Its been fun and I am looking forward to this weekend (more to come on that) but I am ready to return to Liverpool and start making my new apartment all cosy. Our new place is waiting to be signed off and it looks like that won't be until August 31st, so until then I may be a little MIA on social media and I won't be able to post any YouTube videos. Having said that, I have A LOT of videos ready to be filmed so please don't give up on me just yet and keep a look out for lots of videos in September.
WEDDING OF THE YEAR
My parents got married! Yes, after 21 happy years together, they decided to finally tie the knot. They kept it really simple and intimate with only 10 guests which at first I was really shocked about but actually it couldn't have been more perfect. It really did open my eyes, I've always wanted a huge wedding, a small wedding just didn't appeal to me but seeing how smoothly the whole day went and how relaxed we all were really has made me rethink my own wedding day. My mum looked absolutely stunning on the day and my dad looked super smart, I really was the proudest girl on earth seeing them tie the knot. I was thinking of doing a photo diary blog post on the day but I'm not sure if I want to share such a special day with the blogging world. However, the photos are so beautiful, maybe too beautiful not to share with you all. On the morning of the wedding, we all got ready together which was really fun. My mum asked me to do her make up which I was honoured to do, despite the amount of stress it involves to help a bride get ready on her big day. Me and Pea had bought my mum a wedding Pandora charm for her to remember the special day by, which she absolutely loved. In the ceremony I was so happy and honoured to give my mum away, walking her down the aisle was honestly so special and it really meant the world to me. After a long but extremely beautiful day me, Pea and my 3 younger brother came home and left the newlyweds to spend the night in a hotel. It was my little brothers first ever night away from my mum and dad, and they are all under the age of 9, so I was a bit dubious they would get a little teary. However, me and Pea made it so fun for them, I'm talking a pizza party, a lot of music and a late bedtime, so all was good and I definitely got some cool sister points.
For those that don't know my fiancee is actually Welsh (insert sheep jokes here). Now, other than spending every school holidays in Colwyn Bay and the odd shopping trip in Rhyl, I really haven't seen much of Wales. On Saturday, however, me and the in-laws are taking a road trip to Peaches' home town of Barry Island, yes thats right the town of Gavin & Stacey. I am honestly so excited. Pea's Nan actually still lives there so we are staying with her, which will be really nice. I am sure I will post lots of cute little snaps of our little summer holiday on IG so please keep a look out for those.
So thats it, my little life update, just to let you all know I will be back in full motion very shortly. Thanks for reading!
